USF Presents Resident Artist Series

Tapping into its distinguished music faculty talent, the College of Visual & Performing Arts has created the Resident Artists' Series. Critically acclaimed and accomplished professors perform, in part, to bring attention to the artistic excellence of the School of Music and also as an incentive to attract music students to USF from all over the world.

The Resident Artist Series performances will feature a diverse collection of music, ranging from solo to chamber music performances with standard to contemporary repertoire.

"There is a vibrant and active artistic scene north of Kennedy Blvd. and we urge all those in the Tampa Bay region to take advantage of this opportunity to hear first-class music making," said Wade Weast, director of the School of Music.

The concerts will take place at the USF Music Recital Hall. Advance tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors ($15 adult, $10 student, senior - day of show) and can be purchased by visiting www.arts.usf.edu or by calling (813) 974-2323.
